L’intemperie is a small and independent printing house located in the Italian island of Sardinia. It takes its name from an old Heidelberg letter press machine, discovered by the artist Ericailcane in an abandoned typography in the town of Oristano, and which was then moved to the Z.A.B.R. [Autonomous Zone of the Stray Beasts], a democratic and self-governing place born in the middle of the Sinis region, Western Sardinia.

Whether through illustration, words, engraving, serigraphy, photography or any other artistic medium, L’Intemperie opens its doors to all those who share the urgent need for a structural change and want to share their time and knowledge to tell stories about justice, equality, freedom and their hope for a different future.

L’Intemperie is an inclusive and free place where we all can bring our different roots, experiences and visions of the world we would like to live in, waiting together for the big storm, or rather putting our sincere efforts to bring it a little bit closer.

From the Z.A.B.R., L’intemperie is daily run by the illustrator and muralist Ericailcane and by the photographer and producer El Hijo del Coyote.
